Our Canadian roots trace back to Jude Delisle, who set up a namesake yogurt business in Montreal, Quebec shortly after the turn of the 20th century. Among his first customers were doctors who prescribed yogurt as a treatment to patients. By 1967, Delisle had become the leading yogurt producer in Canada. In 1968, the company modernized its production with a new facility in Boucherville, a suburb of Montreal. Thanks to a steady stream of innovation, including new products and expansion into new markets, the company enjoyed substantial growth.
